Das Projekt GRUND von Katharina Lackner und Gregor Graf ist die letzte Ausstellung im derzeitgen Galerieraums des Medien Kultur
Hauses dem ein größerer Umbau bevorsteht.

Katharina Lackner und Gregor Graf untersuchten im Medien Kultur Haus die Geschichte - und fanden Geschichten. Sie gruben im
Staub des Zurückgelassenen, im Keller und dem Dachboden. Und legten scheinbar unsichtbare Zusammenhänge frei. Durch Drehen
und Wenden beginnen die Dinge zu sprechen, geben Zeugnis ab und offenbaren Unglaubliches. Die Relation zwischen Gefundenem
und dessen Geschichten variiert, biegt sich krumm und bildet am Ende eine begehbare Installation aus den Materialien die früher als
display dienten, jetzt spielerisch ins Rampenlicht gerückt wurden.



The project GRUND, by Katharina Lackner and Gregor Graf, was the last exhibition in the galleryspace of the Medien Kultur Haus
before a massive reconstruction of the museum.

In the MKH Katharina Lackner and Gregor Graf examined the institutions history and discovered stories. They dug in the dust of
the remaining parts, in the cellar and the attic, unveiling apparently invisible coherences. By turning and spinning, the assembled
objects started to communicate with each other and bear witness to elusive stories. The relation between what was found and how
its history varies, is bending and in the end there was the installation. An installation you could walk in, made of materials which
were used mainly as displays, then to playfully appear in the spotlight.
