Der Fokus dieses Programms liegt auf kreativer Entfaltung, Kunst, Bewegung und Spiel.

Papalapappe ermöglicht Dinge, die zu Hause, in der Schule oder im Museum nicht möglich sind.

In einer bewertungsfreien Umgebung können alle Generationen in verschiedenen Maßstäben

experimentieren, entwerfen und bauen.

Das „offene“ Material (Karton) und der Raum ermöglichen es, ohne Anleitung, frei zu arbeiten,

egal ob im Großen oder Kleinen. Die Besucher*innen können je nach ihren persönlichen Bedürfnissen

zwischen Gestalten, Laufen, Spielen oder einfach nur Entspannen wählen.

Dieser Ansatz reduziert Frustration und erhöht die intrinsische Motivation und Ausdauer der

Teilnehmer*innen, um ihre Ideen umzusetzen.

Ähnlich wie in einem Kunstatelier stehen viele (unbenutzte!) Materialien und Werkzeuge zur Verfügung,

um den mitgebrachten Ideen Gestalt zu geben.

Die Leiter*in der Session hört zu und hilft nur mit kleinen Eingriffen, läßt das Kind selbst die

Lösungen für die gestellten Aufgaben finden.

Vor allem bietet Papalapappe aber eins, den größten Luxus in einer Stadt und besonders für Kinder:

Raum und Freiheit.

A space for creativity, play and art. For children and their adults.

The focus of this program lies on creative developement, art, movement and play. Papalapappe enables
things that are not offered at home, in school or museums. In a judgement free environment, all generations
can experiment, design and build on different scales. The "openend" material (cardboard) and the space
allow it to work freely, big (or small) and without instructions. The visitors can choose between creating,
running and playing or simply relaxing, depending on their personal needs. This aproach reduces frustration
and enhances the intrinsic motivation and perseverance of the partaker to follow their ideas through.
Similar to an art studio a lot of (unused!) materials and tools are available in order to give shape to their ideas.

The host of the session mostly listens and occasionally assists with minor interventions, letting the child find
solutions to the tasks they set themsleves.

Above all Papalapappe offers the greatest luxury in the city, especially for children: space and freedom.
